about

The winter solstice offers hope of renewal & rebirth, as those of us in the Northern hemisphere start our slow return back towards the warmth of the Sun. For our ancestors the liminal point of Midwinter was of huge importance, a time to celebrate the start of the slow transition back to spring.

This track is my salute to the return of the light & to better things ahead, as well as being a 'thankyou' to everyone who has supported my music this year. It's free to download, but if you do wish to buy it all proceeds will be donated to Crisis: their work to end homelessness is something I very strongly support.

The end of 2020 obviously has extra resonance. Whilst most of us have endured a more difficult year than usual, for some people, particularly as we approach Christmas, it may be a singularly difficult time. If you can support this brilliant charity, please do.

Thanks again - I hope you enjoy my last new music of 2020. Here's to our next spin around the Sun.

Peace.
Mark
